More Days, More Ways to Flex Your Vote in Monterey County

SALINAS, CA – Early voting opportunities continue for the November 5, 2024, Presidential General Election. The Monterey County Elections, Flex Voting Center Program, enters the last week before Election Day, to allow for in-person voting, same day registration, and ballot return in various communities throughout Monterey County. Voters from anywhere in Monterey County can vote at any early in-person voting location in the County.

Monterey County Elections Early Vote Locations and Weekend Voting

SALINAS, CA – The Monterey County Elections Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. this weekend, October 26th & 27th for early voting. Voters can vote in-person, return their voted mail ballot, pick-up a replacement vote by mail ballot, or complete same day registration.

Monterey County Elections Flex Voting Kicks off on October 22nd with Books and Ballots Week in South Monterey County

SALINAS, CA – The Monterey County Elections Office and the Monterey County Free Libraries are joining efforts to offer Books and Ballots Week in South Monterey County. The event offers early flex voting centers at various libraries throughout the week. Voters will be able to vote in-person, return their mail ballot, register to vote, visit with the elections team and, of course, check out the latest offerings at their local library.

SALINAS, CA – The November 5, 2024, Presidential General Election is here and there are a couple of things voters should know to get vote ready. Monterey County local voter information guides and state voter information guides are now in the mail and will continue to mail into next week. Ballots will begin mailing October 3rd. All active voters will receive a ballot in the mail and in-person voting options will be available.

Candidates for school and special district offices will be able to meet with a filing officer to ask questions or file for office, and of course, check out the latest offerings at their local library.
