Voter Education & Outreach

Monterey County Elections outreach and education efforts aim to increase voter registration and participation; maintain current and accurate voter rolls; and prepare voters for an overall positive voting experience. We engage in many events throughout the year and offer a number of resources for community partners and interested persons to use as they engage in various election related activities.

Printables:

Print materials are available for community members and partners to distribute within their organizations, meetings, and community events. Outreach materials include key dates and deadlines for upcoming elections, registration information, voting options, and more. All materials are available in English and Spanish.

Hard copies of all brochures and posters are available for distribution to community organizations upon request, with downloadable versions available on this page.

To request hard copies, please use our Voter Outreach Materials Request Form (PDF) or call (831) 796-1499.

We offer a variety of outreach events to engage with people in the community of all ages and backgrounds. Non-partisan presentations are available in English and Spanish and can be customized according to the particular needs of your organization.

In addition to speaking events, the Monterey County Elections office is available to table community events providing registration and election information. The office is also available to participate in several school events including mock elections, High School Voter Education Week competitions, National Read Across America Day, career day, and Constitution Day, just to name a few.
