Do I need to submit an application?

Are you considering building employee housing and not sure if you need to submit an application or not? Please follow the steps below to find out how and where to submit your application

If there are 4 or less employees:

1. This is not considered Employee Housing by HCD, but additional steps are needed. See step two
2. Some approval process are required through EDD. Click here for more information.

If there are 5 or more employee:

1. If your business in an Incorporated area, please refer to the Housing & Community Development Website.They regulate housing in the incorporates areas.
2. Is your business in an Unincorporated area, please refer to the Environmental Health Bureau.
