The Finance Committee consists of three Board members and the Board Chair. The Finance Committee assists in establishing and enhancing valid business and financial management systems. It annually reviews and recommends the budget, and each month it reviews the Agency’s financial performance under the adopted budget. The committee acts as the audit committee for the Board of Directors and makes recommendations on capital expenditures. The committee reviews the financial aspects of projects proposed to be implemented by the Agency, reviews charges proposed to be levied by the Agency (including, but not limited to, standby charges, and assessments), and may recommend revisions to the Agency’s accounting system.
