Monterey County Certified Organic (MCCO) provides certification services in the following scopes: crop, handler/processor, and wild crop. Monterey County Certified Organic (MCCO) is one of many agencies that is accredited by the United States Department of Agriculture National Organic Program (USDA NOP) to provide certification services.

MCCO is dedicated to supporting the local agricultural community and offers organic certification in the scopes of crop, handler/processor, and wild crop.

MCCO’s purpose and objectives:

  • Support the local organic agricultural community, availability of organic crops, and biodiversity.
