The Agricultural Advisory Committee:

• Gathers information and provides factual data on items affecting or of interest to the agricultural industry
  
  
• Provides a resource of agricultural information and advice on matters affecting or of interest to the agricultural industry
  
  
• Reviews development projects and makes recommendations to decision-making bodies. Specific types of projects include:
  • Projects on lands designated for agricultural use that require a discretionary permit;
  • General plan amendments or zone changes that may affect agricultural lands;
  • Subdivisions of agriculturally designated lands;
  • Projects affecting lands under Williamson Act contract; and
  • Other projects that may support, enhance, or otherwise affect the agricultural industry
