Growers, holders of an Operator Identification Number and/or a Restricted Materials Permit, and Pest Control Businesses are required to report the pesticides they use to the county’s agricultural commissioner in which the application is made. In Monterey County, whenever a pesticide is applied, a Pesticide Use Report must be submitted to our office.
- Pest Control Businesses are required to submit reports within 7 days of the completion of the application.
- Growers and others are required to submit reports by the 10th of the month following pesticide use.
Reporting requirements include pesticide applications to parks, golf courses, cemeteries, rangeland, pastures, and along roadside and railroad rights-of-way.
