The CalFresh Healthy Living program offers comprehensive evidence-based nutrition and physical activity education, aligned with policy, system and environmental change services in Monterey County early childhood centers, schools and community settings.
The California Healthy Kids Resource Center maintains a comprehensive collection of reviewed health education materials for use by teachers, administrators, university faculty, LEA staff and other professionals who work with preschool through 12th grade students in school settings and after-school programs. These materials are available for loan from the CHKRC library, with free delivery in California.

ChooseMyPlate-Offering science-based advice, MyPlate Kids' Place can help kids build healthy meals and to maintain or achieve a healthy weight. Parents and teachers are invited to use the MyPlate Kids' Place Resources for Parents and Educators for “teachable moments” that will influence children’s choices at home and at school.
