If you are interested in participating in the County hiring process, submit a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Interest Form

A Human Resources Professional will review the form and identify areas of expertise
STEP 3
The Human Resources Professional conducting a recruitment will review the list of SMEs to identify individuals to participate in the Qualifications Appraisal process or to serve as an Oral Board panel member
STEP 4
SMEs provides their expertise in the County hiring process
The County of Monterey invites you to volunteer as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in our recruitment process to screen employment application materials and/or to serve as a panel member for an oral board examination. Your expertise will enhance our County recruitment services by having volunteers from the community assist in evaluating applicants in order to identify qualified candidates to progress further in the recruitment process.
