Welcome to Lake San Antonio

Lake San Antonio Park is Monterey County’s premier freshwater recreation area and features North Shore and South Shore park facilities. Located on the Lake San Antonio River just 20 miles inland from California’s beautiful Central Coast and midway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, Lake San Antonio offers year-round activities including picnicking, overnight camping, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, swimming, boating, and waterskiing.

Lake San Antonio offers exceptional overnight camping under shady oak trees in Central California. For campers, Lake San Antonio has tent, partial, and full hookup RV sites, all located in beautiful settings abundant with amazing wildlife. Lodges at South Shore are fully furnished and spacious. The Lake is famous for its great fishing, including plentiful striped bass, largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, catfish, and bluegill, providing great sport for the avid angler.

When entry gates are not staffed, payment of park fees is by Iron Ranger Self-Pay Envelope.
Vessels without a current inspection certificate are subject to a $2,000 fine.

LSA South Shore YONA

Lake San Antonio - South Shore
Harden Youth Overnight Area (YONA) Maximum Capacity: 100 people

The Youth Overnight Area (YONA) is a perfect outdoor location for youth groups to experience overnight camping; available by reservation only. The camp area offers a lake view when water levels are up. Adult use may incur additional fees.

Parking space is limited to a maximum of ten (10) vehicles. The recommended ratio of adults to children is 1:6. Inflatables are allowed by permit only, with the use of a whisper generator. Alcohol is not permitted. The site rental includes:

Wooden picnic tables
Oversized Charcoal BBQ pit(s)
Large Fire pit with bench seating area
Day beach area
Kitchen (sink, fridge, stove/oven and microwave)
Electrical outlets
Water
Restrooms
Showers
