No other center on the Monterey Peninsula provides the same level of service to women who are homeless.

  • G.I. Josie - Female Veteran Transitional Ranch Community Providing a safe and secure community for female combat veterans and their children to heal and conquer Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Military Sexual Trauma (MST).

  • Golden Oldies Cat Rescue - Golden Oldies Cat Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit. We are a resource and advocate for cats ages 6 and older residing in Monterey County, CA, whose guardians can no longer care for them or who are at risk in local shelters. When cats are surrendered to us, they live in our volunteer foster homes until we find permanent loving adoptive homes for them. We do not accept stray or feral cats. We do not accept cats who do not use a litter box.

  • Jacob's Heart Children’s Cancer Support Services exists to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and support their families in the challenges they face.  Since 1998, Jacob's Heart has provided emotional, practical, financial and peer support to more than 600 local children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and more than 2,000 of their family members.

  • Max's Helping Paws Foundation  - The mission of Max’s Helping Paws Foundation is to provide financial assistance to eligible pet owners unable to afford necessary and potentially life-saving medical care of their pet’s illness or injury

  • Veterans Transition Center - The VTC seeks to end Veteran homelessness in Monterey County, working towards "Functional Zero" - where no Veteran is forced to be homeless. Since 1996, this 501(c)(3) non-profit has operated on historic Fort Ord land to provide meals, clothing, and housing to Veterans who are homeless or have been incarcerated. We are one of very few programs in the Nation that welcomes Veterans and their families, as well as pets.
