As a conclusion to International Dark Sky Week, CVS and the Friends of the Carmel Valley Library will be co-hosting another workshop on Dark Sky Friendly Lighting. Come hear as Meredith Nole, Carmel Valley resident and member of the Illuminating Engineering Society, provides examples of energy-saving and darkness-preserving fixtures for your home as well as insight into the impacts of nighttime lighting on humans and animals. Join us Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. If needed, some overflow parking is available behind the History Center at the Community Park. Carpooling is strongly encouraged!
