COMMITTEE ROLE:
To review and make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors positions on legislative
issues impacting Monterey County; to annually recommend a Legislative Program including
state and federal legislative priorities to the Board of Supervisors; and to direct the
legislative activities of the Legislative Committee staff, County departments, and County
legislative advocates.
