Our ever-popular Pop-Up in the Park series is back! This year we have three FREE and FUN pop-ups. Each pop-up is on a Saturday from 1 PM to 2:30 PM. The first in our series is Nature Explorer! Families will listen to the story Backyard Bugs followed by a short talk on why bugs are important and part of eco-system and food production. Next, families will go on a “bug hunt” around the park looking for fake bugs placed around the park and bring back to “base camp”. Once the “bug hunt” is over, families take one copy of the book home, 10 or more insect stickers, and a plain wooden insect to decorate at home..
