Labor of Love is a free annual event which is a combination of pregnancy health fair, resource fair and baby shower. Lots of learning happens here as well as games and gifts.
Celebrating our 25th year, the sponsors of the event encourage families to come and learn about healthy pregnancies, healthy babies and families.
From 4:30-6:30pm, 40 agency tables will have an activity to learn healthy families and also information on a resource in the community for the family. Dads can have fun at the diaper derby contest or “Feed the Big Baby” contest. 40 car seats, 30 strollers and 35 other large prizes will be given away during this time. Each family will be given a children’s book to encourage “Read, Sing, Play” with their child. Wheelie Mobilee will have activities for the siblings. 6:30-7:30pm will be the car seat safety presentation.
Labor of Love is Thursday, September 6th at Sherwood Hall (940 North Main Street, Salinas).
