Topics of discussion include
- Limitations of CURES, a tracking system for controlled drugs
- Organized, large scale prescription fraud
- Process for reporting suspected fraud
- Alerting pharmacies and providers of changes in prescriber practice
Discussion will be facilitatied by an expert panel of representatives from Monterey County hospitals, local law enforcement agencies, the FBI, the Monterey County District Attorneys' Office, local pharmacists and more
