The County parks system offer nine regional parks including 12,155 acres of land and 10,000 acres of lakes. Laguna Seca is the site of at least five car races each year and other county parks host a wide range of events from triathlons to bikathons and other community events.

The County offers world class golf courses, restaurants and accommodations, as well as access to the abundant sea life in Monterey Bay.
