Mission Statement

Risk Management, Safety, Insurance, prudent administration of Self-Insurance and Compliance are the cornerstones of our mission.  We will provide active leadership that enables the County of Monterey to protect the health, safety and welfare of its employees and the general public; ensure the physical and financial assets of the county are protected; and control County risks in the most efficient and cost‐effective manner.
