FREE physical examination

Monterey County employees are eligible to receive a FREE physical examination once every year or every other year (depending on the bargaining unit). The physicals are provided by Natividad Medical Group by a county physician.

Employees are encouraged to visit a health care provider annually, even if they are healthy. The purpose of a physical is to see how the body is performing, screen for diseases, assess the risk of future medical problems, encourage a healthy lifestyle, update vaccinations, and develop or maintain a relationship with a health care provider. Employees can use their Wellbeing and Work-Life Resources Paid Leave Hours for this physical. See Personnel Policies and Practices Resolution No. 98-394 A.50.

3. Find the Onsite Screenings 2024 event and click Sign-Up
