SERVICES
The Human Resources Department's S.E.E.K (Supporting - Empowering - Engaging - Keeping) Program, provides personalized career coaching using a variety of tools. Employees using The S.E.E.K. Program will be assigned a personal coach to guide them through the job transition process.

WORKSHOPS
The Human Resources Facilitators are prepared to assist employees who are directly impacted by downsizing. Based on employee needs and Department request, the following workshops are available:
Individual Employee Workshops
Orientation covers important information for those who have received a notice of lay off. The following will be covered:
- S.E.E.K. services
- Rapid Response Support / WDB information on EDD Unemployment Services, training services and retraining services.
- CalWORKs Employment Services (CWES) information
- Human Resources information on: summary of layoff process, seniority, preferred eligibility list and layoff benefits information guide.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

This course teaches job seekers how to prepare for a professional job interview. Whether being interviewed for a job because your name was on an eligible list or not, being prepared for your interview will certainly improve your chances of being selected for the job.

In this interactive course, you will have the opportunity to practice common interview questions with a panel of two to three HR professionals. Feedback will be provided based on your responses.

This course teaches job seekers how to prepare a professional resume that reflects their skills, knowledge and education that are relevant to the job they are seeking.

The HR Professional Coaches will provide private one-on-one career coaching to assist you with your employment needs. Our coaches provide the following services:
