Laguna Seca Recreation Area is owned by the County of Monterey. The Laguna Seca Recreation Area is open every day and includes the race track, campgrounds, venue rental and a rifle and pistol shooting range.

Please Note: The gas pump facilities, and Tesla Superchargers are only available for our paid guests during a track rental, or our series event partners. They are not open to the public.

For Your Safety

Drones are prohibited from operating in the facility at any time.
Coolers are allowed.
Riders of motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles must wear an approved helmet.
Motorized vehicles, bicycles, roller blades or skateboards are not allowed in the Marketplace
Pets are not allowed in spectator areas, with the exception of service dogs. Pets are allowed in the campgrounds, but must be on a leash.
Fireworks are illegal at Laguna Seca Recreation Area. Anyone caught with fireworks will be cited and expelled.
Dumping grey water onto the ground is prohibited. A central disposal station is available, located at the top of A Road. During major motorsports events, the the dump station is closed until Sunday evening. Ask camping host for mobile disposal services.
Only licensed vehicles may be operated on perimeter roads. All California Vehicle Code rules and regulations apply.
Quiet hours in the campgrounds are observed between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
No freestanding scaffolding or structures are permitted in the camping areas.
Marked fire lanes must be kept clear at all times.

WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca

WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca was built in 1957 and originally known as Laguna Seca Raceway. The race track is world-renowned for its extraordinary racing history and Turn 8, 8A known as The Corkscrew. The Corkscrew’s elevation change is a one-of-a-kind in motorsports. In 450 feet of track the elevation drops 59 feet, or almost a 6 stories. Located in California’s beautiful central coast, Laguna Seca Recreation Area is a must-see for naturists, hikers, bicyclists and anyone that enjoys the outdoors. Visitors can camp on the surrounding hillsides for a serene view of the Salinas Valley. Both RV and tent camping are available year-round in a clean, friendly environment.
