Hitchcock Road Animal Services (HRAS) is partnering with Animal Friends Rescue Project and Best Lift TNR Rescue to host a “Neonate Kitten Workshop” on Saturday May 11^th at 10:30am at 160 Hitchcock Road, Salinas.

Every spring and into summer, hundreds of neonate kittens (unweaned babies) are found in the community, many of which come into the shelter.  When HRAS doesn’t a foster, they reach out to rescue partners like AFRP and Best Life for help to save these young lives.  However, without foster homes themselves, they aren’t always able to take them in.  Fostering truly helps save lives and the larger our foster networks are, whether you foster for HRAS or another partner, it all helps the little ones in the end. So, let’s come together and train new foster homes to save more lives!

If you want to help orphaned, baby kittens in your community, this is the workshop for you!  Learn how to foster baby kittens that don’t have a mother and really help save lives in our community.  Workshop will cover kitten care, feeding techniques and keeping your foster kittens healthy and thriving.
