Recipients of County services who believe they are or may have been victims of unlawful discrimination, harassment, or retaliation, may initiate either the informal complaint procedures or file a formal complaint with the County Equal Opportunity Office. *The term "recipient of County services" includes persons who deal with County employees or County contractors in receiving services from the County, including individuals who are inmates of the Monterey County Jail facilities. The term "Equal Opportunity Officer" includes the Officer's duly authorized designee.
