MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ACT (MHSA)

General Information

The Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) provides   funding to counties to expand and develop innovative, integrated services for  children, transition age youth, adults and older adults. The overall goal is to transform public mental health care. Formerly known as “Prop 63”, California voters passed the MHSA in the November 2004 election.
