Adult System of Care (ASOC)
The Adult System of Care provides a wide range of programs that primarily serve adults with serious mental illness and functional impairments that interfere with their ability to live in the community without these supportive services. Services are provided both individually, through tele-health, and within a group format.
Services:
ASOC Services utilize a Reaching Recovery model to help the people we serve achieve mental health wellness, purpose, independence and safety through recovery. Our program’s view of recovery is as follows: “recovery is a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live self-directed lives, and strive to reach their full potential” (SAMHSA, 2012). The teams at MCBH ASOC hope to join with clients in their recovery journey, as they focus on setting strong foundations for long term wellness.
Services include the following: case management, mental health rehabilitation, medication supports, crisis counseling, brokerage and linkage services; as well as supportive services to family members. Staff will also offer interested clients connections to the following services through a contract provider: supported employment, supported education, peer support, substance use recovery services, crisis residential, and co-occurring residential recovery Programs.
