Veterans Transition Center of California - The mission of the Veterans Transition Center is empowering Veterans to move from crises to self-sufficiency. Through our housing programs, we enhance our ability to tailor care for the approximately 100 Veterans and their families we assist daily. Our wrap-around services include housing, clothing, food, case management, employment, benefits assistance, mental health resources, and substance abuse counseling for both Veterans who are facing homelessness and/or have earned their parole. Through innovative programming at one of the Nation's first Veterans Hub at CTF Soledad and a warm handoff to our housing, VTC residents and alumni in our LTORR housing proudly maintain a 0% recidivism rate.

Monterey County Military & Veterans Affairs Office (MVAO) - The Monterey County Military & Veterans Affairs Office (MVAO) provides advocacy, assistance and services designed to enhance the lives of the County's veterans who served their country in the Armed Forces, their families, and their survivors. We assist in obtaining entitlements and services from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), U.S. Department of Defense, California Department of Veterans Affairs (CDVA), and local programs for eligible veterans and their families.

Supporting Veteran Students - Many community colleges have veterans clubs that are connected with the Student Veterans of America (SVA). Founded in 2008, SVA is a coalition of student veterans groups on college campuses across the United States. These groups coordinate campus activities, provide pre-professional networking, and provide general support for student veterans in higher education.

D-Stress Line - Provides peer support for all Marines, whether regular, reserve, Veteran or retiree, attached sailors, and their families via anonymous 24 hour counseling with clinician backup. 1-877-476-7734 or via live chat.
